The Stages
How Entry Actually Proceeds
The Order publishes its process because a process described is far harder to counterfeit. Each stage is real, and none of them involves payment.
- Presentation — the person presents himself and states plainly who he is, what he carries, and why he is asking. There is no form to buy and no fee to submit.
- Examination — the Order reads the presentation and examines discipline, discretion and the capacity to hold an oath. Not all who ask are called, and the Order says so before any approach is made.
- Oath — the person accepted swears secrecy regarding counsel, loyalty to the Circle, and stewardship of whatever influence his position commands. The oath binds without release.
- Seating — the sworn member takes his place in the Circle as an equal, and counsel thereafter passes under the Order's sign.
The Oath
What Is Actually Sworn
The oath is short and its substance is mundane, which is the point. Nothing supernatural is invoked and nothing miraculous is promised.
What is sworn is that counsel spoken in the Circle stays in it, that members do not spend one another's difficulties for advantage, and that the Order's name is not used for personal gain. A man who keeps those three things has kept the oath entirely.
The Limits
What The Oath Does Not Cover
The oath protects counsel, never conduct. It does not bind a member to conceal harm, and it does not bind the Order to protect a member who does harm.
This distinction is stated publicly because organisations that answer accusations with nothing but the word oath have already told you what their oath is for.
Discernment
Initiation Scams And Their Marks
A large trade exists in fake initiation — fees for registration, promises of supernatural benefit, guaranteed admission, and objects sold as proof of membership.
Every one of those marks indicates a fraud. The Order's initiation costs nothing, guarantees nothing, sells nothing, and cannot be bought at any price. Anyone who offers to arrange it for money has no ability to arrange anything.
Illuminati membership is examined rather than enrolled, and the illuminati oath binds counsel rather than obedience. Anyone offering illuminati members a guaranteed place, or offering to arrange how to join the illuminati brotherhood for a payment, has no such power to offer.

How do you get initiated into the Illuminati?
By presenting yourself to the Order and being examined. There is no purchase, no application fee, and no guaranteed admission. The Order seats whom it chooses after examination.
Can initiation be purchased?
No. Any offer to arrange initiation in exchange for payment is a fraud. The Order charges nothing at any stage and has never sold entry.
What does the oath require?
Discretion regarding counsel spoken within the Circle, loyalty to the Circle's members, and a refusal to use the Order's name for personal advantage. It concerns conduct among members, not obedience to any authority.
Is there a blood oath or a sacrifice?
No. That language belongs to the counterfeit trade, not to the Order. The oath concerns confidentiality and conduct and invokes nothing supernatural.
